“Before UnionTech started cooperating, the conventional material epoxy resin was used for the production and treatment of shoe molds. The production of one shoe mold requires a series of processes including pattern (master pattern) preparation, mold frame construction, parting surface selection, release agent application, mixing & pouring, resin curing & mold splitting, epoxy resin mold aftertreatment, mold assembling, and mold testing. This is a time-consuming process that requires a lot of labor. Additionally, there are concerns about the quality of the mold, how the shoe pattern will look, etc.

Dakota, a well-known Brazilian shoemaking company, has products that are sold all over the world. It is obvious that the traditional production method cannot meet the needs of large-scale companies with such high demand. Dakota discovered that the 3D printing solution for shoemaking by UnionTech has helped improve her efficiency. It used to take nearly 10 hours to make a shoe mold. The FL660 can now operate 24 hours per day, without the need for supervision, which improves the overall efficiency by almost 60%. Fernando believes it is a miracle of technology-driven production.

UnionTech’s 3D printing technology has allowed us to present delicate patterns for shoe styles. To make shoes more stunning, we used to need to modify the shoe models by hand. Today, however, we are able to directly print beautiful patterned shoes models in order to create more exquisite shoes for our customers.

Dakota was able to see the reliability and ease of UnionTech’s 3D printer solution. It features a printer with excellent quality + super easy printing software + a variety of applications for 3D printed materials. Fernando, Dakota’s responsible person, stated that the Company had previously purchased 3D printers from UnionTech, but ended their cooperation because of poor service and device quality. Fernando stated that there is more potential for 3D printing technology to develop in the future, and that it will lead to a new era of digital production.
