Ackerstein Industries enters the field of concrete printing – Israel News

Ackerstein In the latest innovation, Industries, Israel’s leading concrete company, has entered the concrete printing field. In order to make this move, the company plans to create, manufacture, market and sell a wide range of products, which will be created using an innovative 3D printing technology, the first in Israel. Ackerstein, as part of its strategic move signed a collaboration agreement with CyBeA Dutch company developed concrete printing technology. Ackerstein is launching new product lines to demonstrate the capabilities of this technology, as well as introduce a new design style for space in Israel.

Concrete printing uses 3D design software in conjunction with a robotic arm that carries a precise concrete injector and a special concrete mix. These three elements allow concrete to cast in virtually any geometric shape and to reduce the depreciation rate of the concrete. The innovative technology and the concrete mixture allows for the production of a product printed in 24 hours, which can be transported to any location within the country.

Ehud Dánch, CEO of Ackerstein Industries“We’re excited to be entering the field of 3D printing concrete. This technology is revolutionizing the production of various products in the construction and interior design industries. This technology is in line with Ackerstein’s innovation tradition, which has been followed for over 100 years. It also fits with Ackerstein’s environmental vision that advocates using the least amount of raw materials possible while maintaining high quality. This technology is used in construction and environmental design by leading companies around the world. I’m sure this move will place Israel at the forefront of the concrete printing industry.”

Concrete printing can also be considered an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly production process. The printing process is also carried out at an average speed of half a meter a second, allowing for a high output and significant savings in raw material. Concrete printing has been used in many countries for more than a decade. However, it has only recently become a commercially viable option for homes, infrastructures, and products for environmental design and development. Ackerstein’s new printed concrete line includes everything from retaining wall coverings to environmental furniture.
